That is a bit of an overkill. Simply put the coins in the tray if you think it would matter. And, a razor wouldn’t hold you up. If you think they will flag the bag if it is inside, simply put it on the tray. Michael

N64 cartridges definitely survived in my carry-ons (pre 9/11).  I would be equally confident about carrying them today.

But what if the N64 game cartridge has wording such as "BOMB" or "EXPLOSION" or "DEATH" or "CRASH" on its cover ?  Wouldn’t that trigger a full cavity search and preventive destruction of the game cartridge just in case ? :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) ;-)

Response:

They should receive no harm from the scanning.

In November I took a total of 11 flights in US and Asia, while carrying a small laptop with extra battery, digital camera and GPS device. I wasn’t asked even a question, let alone cause a delay. Dunno, but can’t you get along without them so as to not hold up the line? ;-) Jeez, I’m flying next week and planning NOT to take my electric razor or even any coins!  Hopefully the only metal I’ll have either on me or in my bag is one solitary house key and maybe a belt buckle.  Maybe I won’t wear a belt, either…
