Whirligig-Fish?

Question:

Greetings!  I just stuck a picture of my latest winter project online.  It’s a whirligig in the shape of a fish. No wait it’s a weather vane fish. That’s not it either …. it’s a weather-fish!! Anyway it’s at    http://users.ntr.net/~ddobson/images/weatherfish.jpg I took the picture in a big hurry, as my son had borrowed a firiends digital camera and the low battery light was flashing. There isn’t anything in the foto to give any scale so I’ll tell you that the body is about 10 inches high and maybe 13 long not counting the fins or tail. It sits on a 3/4 inch copper pipe post and can freely rotate to face into the wind. The fins in the center also spin in the breeze. I didn’t design it.  A friend got one for his garden last fall and I borrowed and copied it. Just solid #6 copper wire for the body. Copper flashing for the fins. Copper pipe for the stand. I hope to make similar ones of Sun and Moon but they might not be weather vanes,  just garden ornaments. Peace!
