Dude, You really should have kept that one for yourself!I was kind of wondering why you were selling it in the first place?"A" neck 70’s P-Basses don’t show up that often.Plus it had an Alder body!RARE!I’m sure that it was a great player. Anyhow,I had to bug the guy who owned the 1975 "A" neck bass that I got for almost 5 months to sell.He finally did.Actually,I rescued this one that I bought. It was just sitting in a basement barely ever used. The bass even had mold growing on it!!!!I couldn’t deal with seeing this bass getting abused any more! I had to re-wire the bass,I had to clean it up,I had to set it up but in the end what a player!Normally,I do not like P-Basses(I’m a Jazz Bass fan)but this one has the nice "A" neck on it with a rosewood board and is also an Alder body.Another rare bass. Also a player all the way! It’s the best P-Bass that I have ever owned or played! I’ve always liked the 60’s P-Basse tone but could never get past that fat "C" neck feel. The "B" neck on most 70’s P-Basses is also a little uncomfortable for my small hands plus I’m not a real big fan of the heavy ash bodies that come on most 70’s P-Basses. Wow, that’s a really good definition for NG posters to learn, so I’m posting it: quip n. 1. A clever, witty remark often prompted by the occasion. 2. A clever, often sarcastic remark; a gibe. See Synonyms at joke. 3. A petty distinction or objection; a quibble. 4. Something curious or odd. v. intr. quipped, quip
