What NOT to forget.
Question:
Let me think….. laptop, digital camera, life vest, extra prop, boat cover, extra battery charger (someone always needs one), extension cord, bearing grease pump, and a couple of extra bottles (the good stuff, Steve) for the gracious host. Charles, you might have to explain that "Preparation-H" comment. (It works, don’t it). – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -> So, let’s compile a list of the lesser thought of gear just in case. A few months back, a friend of mine invited me to go Trout fishing down below Center Hill Dam. He instructed me as to what size line to use, what bait to use, to be sure to bring a net, waders, towel, and everything else…EXCEPT for WARM clothes. I’m talking, that water was COLD!!! The reason for this thread I guess, is to bring up all of these things that someone may forget. While we get busy packing rods, reels, line, lures, clothes, and all the other goodies… There’s always something you end up thinking, "You know… I shoulda brought ???". Believe me, I know. At Center Hill, I got a heck of a sunburn in April. Who wudda thunk it? It was April by george, and I got a sunburn. Just ask Jerry. hehe I never thought that I would need a sunscreen in april. So, let’s compile a list of the lesser thought of gear just in case. BTW: I’m bring a sunscreen, and a big tube of preperation h for those who forget theirs. hehe…

A good needlenose pliers, a ziplock bag with bandaids in (don’t forget we have toothy critters up here), polarized sunglasses, some cool weather gear, raingear, a camera, extra film and batteries. Let’s not forget the most important thing, nice gifts for the host!! :) — The Official Website of the ROFBMP Northwoods Classic http://www.uglybass.com/rofbmp
