Tobago Hostels or cheap places to stay.
Question:
I’m considering going to Tobago for 4-6 weeks, and was wondering if there is a good place to find information on available youth hostels/cheaper places in the area. Or do you know of hostels yourself on the Island? Is it safe to bring more expensive equipment like a digital camera? I’m hoping to take my digital camera and take a lot of underwater pictures while snorkeling. I’m looking to spend $15 US a night or lower. Is this do-able? Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Brian H.

My Lonely Planet _Eastern Caribbean_ lists several places around that price range. You have to first decide where on the island you want to stay. I suggest you either buy this book, or at least spend some time in the book store looking through it. Don <donwiss at panix.com>.

Thanks a lot for response. I think I spend too much time on my computer, expecting to find everything on the Internet. I should move on over to my local library and find info the old fashioned way. ; ) I’ll check out that lonely planet book you mentioned. Thanks.
