They sound about the size my babies were 15 years ago. One pup was almost twice the size of the other at birth. I figure they must have been conceived a couple of days apart, because they have been within 2 ounces of each other ever since. Both are now just under 5 pounds. Jo

heeheeeeeeee, yahoo! puppies! i bet they are adorable! now, comes the fun part, gwen. getting to love em up, while momma does all the work<giggle> (incidentally, momma will probably be ravenous, if she’s anything like my sassafras was while taking care of her babies. might want to give her a little extra nutrition to help her a little.) how fun this is to have it shared with us like this! kate

Abbie had her puppies last night between 10 & 10:30. A black male with a white streak on his tummy, and a very light tan female, a little smaller than the male. My grandsone called just after the first one came and then my son, DIL, grandson, grandaughter and her spend-the-night friend were at my house before the second one arrived. I don’t know who was more excited. Abbie really had an easy time so I may just let her have more before I have her fixed. She did everything just right and all are doing well today.
