OT: Suggest a good digital camera/Video camera?

Question:

Fred, I noticed your pictures are REALLY clear. Were you using a digital camera for that? — pd http://www.peterduncan.net http://www.mp3.com/peterduncan

Pete, Check out http://marginx.com/bunnybass/BassIndex.shtml for some really high quality pics of basses that were taken by digital camera.  Especially check out the ones at the top forsale (the Roscoe and the Zaughn).  Shoot him an email and he’ll tell you what kind of digital he uses (I did a few weeks ago to compliment him on the composition AND quality of his images).  He told me what kind he’s been using, but I can’t remember now. naddy

He does take some excellent pictures. I just got a Kodak DC280, a 2Megapixel camera that has excellent resolution, USB support, great software, a 20mb card and more. Got it from www.onsale.com for $360 shipped. They’re $599 at Best Buy. Now all I have to do is figure out how Jon does his lighting, etc.
