New digital camera..

Question:

My wife answered a phone survey about cameras and film last weekend. Kodak is giving us  a Kodak 210 zoom camera to use for 6 months. On top of that, their paying us. This camera is great. It takes photos in JPEG format or Flashpix and with the enclosed software, pictures can be edited while still in the camera. I have already added photos to my pond web site. Now I can change my web site on the fly. This camera also hooks into my computer and TV. Has its own filing system and creates photo albums. I’m thrilled ! Check out new photos on my start page. http://lornet.com/~alside/pond.htm Littleton, CO – Zone 5

Me too.  I can afford one (At least that is what I tell myself) but I am waiting for the right features.   One of the features I want in a quality camera is one that lets me put my own lenses on it.  Minolta makes one that I could use, but i don’t have 4000 bucks or so.  Besides I am holding out for Kodak to come out with an affordable one with changeable lenses.   I have been watching the ads ever since they started marketing the $15,000 ones   I think the market will bust wide open when they get one with the right lens connections combined with the right density (X by X pixels) and the right price. One place I could use it is for our Church directory.  I take the pictures now, haul them down to the store, leave them for development, go back and pay good money for prints that I won’t display, and *scan* them in.  Then adjust and digitally print.  The digital camera would take a lot of that work out of it, as well as cost.
