Heidi's hole
Question:
Whee! I got a new pierce for the first time in this millennium (and please don’t start *that* arguement again, especially since I do know that it starts in 2001, but this sounds better). My original and well- trained hand-holder, amY, was in town this weekend, so I had to take advantage of the opportunity. Derek gave me a lovely 16 ga snug on my right ear, with plenty of room for one or two more below it. It barely hurt, though it was a slow one, and I did hear the crunch/pop for the first time ever (after 7 ear cart holes). amY held my hand of course, and Bert took pictures on his spiffy digital camera. Two days later, it’s swollen and a bit sore, but nothing unbearable. I’ll go in for the second one when the swelling on this one goes down enough so we can tell where to put it. It looks really cool! I’ll put pix up when I get them from Bert. Bert’s ears are even cooler, but I’ll let him tell that story… (it’s a very bloody story <g>) heidi — RAB FAQS: http://www.faqs.org/faqs/bodyart RAB Welcome FAQ: http://www.faqs.org/faqs/bodyart/netiquette

Well, if I had to be replaced, at least I was replaced by the person I replaced. Congrats, heidi!
