What is a Flashpath card, and Digital Wallet?

Flashpath – Looks like a normal floppy. You just sick your memory card into a slot on the card, put it in the PC’s drive, and download your pictures to the PC. You do have to install some software on the host PC so it will not work if there are restrictions on this. This software is suppose to fit on a standard floppy. Digital Wallet – No idea. Have just seen them mentioned as a option for people that travel with digital cameras. They sound like portable hard drives but I’m sure there is more to them then that. BTW I just got into digital camera so I’m certainly no expert. ScottV

I’m going to Great Britain for two weeks so I’m facing some of the same problems you are. Right now I’m bringing several memory cards with me but would not mind that ability to download some of the pictures especially well I’m in London. Some other options that I have read about include – Digital wallets – Getting a Flashpath card and going to an Internet Cafe then e-mailing the pictures to yourself – Bringing an old laptop Might also try asking this question in rec.photo.digital. If anyone e-mails you directly I would appreciate it if you could post it here or forward me the e-mail. ScottV

Another option you might consider is getting one of those free webspace deals, and uploading the pics to your webspace to store until you get home and download them. Many ISPs have a size limit on mailboxes, which can fast be exceeded when there are lots of attached files. Whatever you choose to do, have a great time. — Trish Dublin, Ireland http://www.loughman.dna.ie/ Dublin City Directory of 1850

What about in the Netherlands ( Amsterdam; Den Haag; Rotterdam) ? Are there places such as this or places to transfer and send pics from Digital Cameras there?

There is a large chain of photography shops in the UK called Jessops. They seem, from their catalogue, to cater for most photographic needs.
