Whilst not offering any authoritative confirmation, I would doubt that you will encounter any difficulty getting your files converted in any tourist orientated centre in South Australia or Victoria. Geoff Lillico

If you take your cable with you, some of the more savvy internet cafes will do it for you. Alternatively, a 256 MB Compact Flash card is now pretty cheap and you can get a lot of pictures on one of them. I borrowed a 512MB one off of a friend and my 2 megapixel camera could store at least 830 pictures on it. I didn’t fill it. Of course, if you get "off the beaten track", one of the other problems is getting the batteries charged. Jim – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -> who can burn the pictures from the memory cards used in those cameras on a > cd.

Jim, whilst in Bendigo, try BENDIGO CAMERA CENTRE in Mitchell Street.(which is one of the main streets) … and don’t forget to visit our wonderful Bendigo Art Gallery!
