vitamin c

Question:

Bad reactions to C may be due to spoiled C.  It will spoil if heated over 90 degrees F, or if it gets damp.  Many department stores keep stock in the attic, where temperatures can easily exceed 90 F.  Some time cack, I had a LOT of trouble with supposedly fresh 35mm film that a national chain had roasted in their attic.  I have also had problems with bad batches of C.  If the crystals look the least bit yellow, THROW THEM OUT! Spoiled C will definately harm you!    On the other hand, if the imune system gets rev’d up from C, you can experience a die-off reaction or other fighting type reaction to long-term problems that you have. -JVV- P. S. I have been taking vitamin C in the megadose range for over ten years with few bad effects.  A good article on how to determine dosage is "Vitamin C, Titrating to Bowel Tolerance, Anascorbemia and Acute Induced Scurvy" by Dr. RObert F. Cathcart, Medical Hypothesis 7:1359-1374, 1981.  He is the inventor of the Cathcart hip prosthesis, and now practices Orthomolecular Medicine and allergy medicine in Los Altos California. 415-949-2822. I am one of his patients, and recomend him most highly. -JVV- —

Response:

Vitamin C to help out?    I am most tempted to agree with you. I have had the cronic runs for months and lost much weight. After drinking OJ most of the day my system is starting to return to normal, I think. Today is the first day is is "normal"
